The WATERinMOTION® Certification teaches you how to lead the newest aqua exercise workout that provides a low impact, high-energy challenge for participants of all ages, skill and fitness levels. This 2-day certification includes a WATERinMOTION® kit including a full DVD, Music CD and Choreography Manual that equips you with all the music, moves and cues you'll need to lead a top-notch aqua program in no time! The WIM manual encourages instructors to learn the R.I.P.P.L.E. technique, developed to make every aqua class your BEST class! With land equivalent intensity, fantastic sing-along quality music, and dynamic trainers, enjoy the pure fun of this comprehensive certification! Land instructors smoothly and easily transition into the pool, and aqua instructors improve by leaps and bounds. Aqua-phobes will forever become aqua-FANS when they "Catch the Wave."
At the WATERinMOTION® certification, each instructor will be required to sign up for wautoship (the automated quarterly released shipment of kits including WATERinMOTION® Music CDs, DVDs and Choreography Manuas). Every three months, the instructor will automatically be charged $34.95 plus shipping/handling. Wautoship can be stopped anytime when the instructor no longer is teaching the program.
After completing your 2-day WATERinMOTION® certification, an instructor has 12 weeks (90 days) to video tape themselves teaching a WATERinMOTION® class and submit it for evaluation. Our team of evaluators provide a detailed and confidential review of the class substance. This valuable teaching tool is submitted to the instructor themselves and to the Group/Aqua Manager only. Providing quality assurance to the club/facility, the WATERinMOTION® assessment maintains the high standards expected of a WATERinMOTION® instructor.

WATERinMOTION® requries that individuals register at least 3 (three) weeks prior to the certification date. This allows for ample time for the instructor to receive their Instructor Training Manual via email and read, understand and absorb the educational information. This also permits time for SCW Fitness Education to mail the WATERinMOTION® kit to the registering instructor. This kit includes a DVD of the class, a music CD, and complete Choreo Notes outlining in detail the choreography. If an instructor registers less than three weeks out for the WATERinMOTION® certification, they can still register for the event, but they will be charged a $25 processing fee to ensure that the Instructor Training Manual and kit (DVD, CD and Choreo notes) arrives in time. If a WATERinMOTION® instructor registers less than one week in advance, they are required to pay the same $25 processing fee, but must pick up the kit (DVD, CD and Choreo Notes) at the certification site. SCW will make every best effort to email the Instructor Training Manual under this deadline.
It is essential that WATERinMOTION® instructor candidates review the manual and kit thoroughly prior to the two-day certification. This is due to the fact that there will be a practical portion in the certification that requires the instructor to demonstrate proficiency in two tracks (two songs) of the WATERinMOTION® program. In order to pass the certification, the instructor will be required to teach the tracks (songs) in front of the entire class without the support of printed materials, or the trainer. A complete memory recall of the choreography will be required.
SCW Fitness Education will assign the particular tracks (songs) that the instructor will be required to memorize and teach which will arrive with your kit.
